He began his professional career as an editor for the economic sections of La Voce and Adn Kronos. In 1998, he joined Philip Morris, later moving to Lottomatica, where he held the role of Vice President of Marketing and Communication.
Returning to Philip Morris in 2007, he took on the position of General Manager for Italy, and in 2009, General Manager for the Slovak Republic. During this period, he was also responsible for the Group’s corporate affairs within the European Union.
He led the Corporate Affairs department as Vice President for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Duty-Free, with additional responsibilities for operations in Israel.
In 2017, he was appointed Vice President for Global Partnerships and Cooperation, focusing on the company’s business transformation aimed at replacing cigarettes with reduced-risk products.
From 2022 to 2024, he served as Head of Communication for the Rome 2030 Committee.
He has been a member of the advisory board of the Guggenheim Museum in Venice and the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
