Born in Rome in 1959.
After obtaining a degree in Statistical and Demographic Sciences, he earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical, Economic, and Statistical Analysis of Social Phenomena from the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Rome "La Sapienza."
In the following years, as an adjunct professor, he taught various subjects at several universities, including La Sapienza, Siena, and Lecce.
From 2001 to 2003, he served as Deputy Director General of Il Sole 24 Ore and Director of the Knowledge Area.
Between 2003 and 2006, he joined the HR Board of Telecom Italia as a Strategic Resource and CEO of Tils - a Group company. During this period, he also held the positions of CEO of Luiss Management S.p.A. and Director of the Project Activities Area, as well as Head of the Research Centers at Luiss Guido Carli University. Additionally, he served as President of Fondimpresa Lazio.
In 2007, he founded Piazza Copernico srl.
From 2008 to 2024, he was the General Director of Unindustria, the Union of Industrialists and Enterprises of Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti, and Viterbo.
Between 2010 and 2017, he was a member of the Rome Chamber of Commerce Council, the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia Foundation, the Executive Council of ICC Italy - International Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Directors of FASI - Integrated Health Assistance Fund.
From 2011 to 2014, he served as Vice President of the Rome Latina Industrial Development Consortium. Since 2015, he has been the CEO of Unindustria Partecipazioni srl.
From 2021 to 2024, he was a Board Member of the Lazio Industrial Consortium.
In 2022, he joined the Scientific Committee of AGENS – Confederated Agency of Transport and Services.
Since 2024, he has been a member of the Advisory Board of the UCBM Academy.
